Alison Doody

Alison Doody was born in Dublin, the Republic of Ireland, on the 11th of November 1966. She is a model as well as an Irish actress. Alison Doody made her feature film debut as a Bond girl with the film A View to a Kill, (1985). Then she was as a character in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989. She played Nazi sympathetic archaeologist Elsa Schneider. Siobhan was in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody became a model after her being approached by a aspiring photographer. The career she pursued has evolved into commercial modelling. Doody did not like glamour or nude modeling, which that was carried into her acting. She was cast in a minor role as Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that her name was picked by the director of casting. The show was inspired by The Hitler Diaries publication scam. Doody then relocated to Hollywood. She starred as Flannery as Flannery in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. After almost a decade away from screen Doody was back in the acting world by playing a minor role in the 2003's British comedy movie The Actors with Michael Caine as her character in the event scene for the award ceremony. Doody was a co-star, along together with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version of King Solomon's Mines. In 2010, Doody played a role on Danny Dyer's feature film The Rapture (2010). The Clinic, a medical drama on RTE. The Asphyx was her 2011 remake. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. She starred in We Still Kill the Old Way which was a film from 2014. The film was awarded the Almeria Tierra de Cinema award on November 21, 2018.
