Rena Sofer

  

Rena Sherel was born on December 2, 1968, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her roles on daytime TV, episodic guest appearances and made-for-television movies. In 1995, Sofer received a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance of Lois Cerullo in the soap show General Hospital. From 2013 to 2022, she played Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap drama The Bold and the Beautiful.




 Childhood and early life


 Sofer was the daughter Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau) She was an Orthodox rabbi and Susan Sofer (nee Franzblau).




 She and her brother moved with David along with her father to Teaneck (New Jersey) in 1970. When Sofer was 5 years old, she was living in Western Pennsylvania. The family was brought up in Ambridge, Pennsylvania by their father, Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Then, she went to the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is co-educational Modern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer lived in North Bergen, New Jersey in the town where her father was rabbi of synagogue Temple Beth El. Sofer was a graduate of North Bergen High School and later went to Montclair State College.




 Career


 Television during the daytime


 Lois Marie Cerullo was the first Lois Marie Cerullo that Sofer played with on General Hospital. Her first appearance was in 1993 as a musician manager. However, her first high-profile role was Rocky McKenzie on the daytime soap opera Loving (1988-91).
